GTR 2 Review
61What is GTR 2?
GTR 2 is a car racing simulation for the PC published in 2006. The game is based on FIA Championship series, including cars, tracks, sounds and behaviours. The game has a decent level of graphics while not requiring a too high performance computer(most mid class PC's of today should be able to run it at some level of detail)
What is good in GTR 2?
- GTR 2 has realistic graphics, a seemingly realistic behaviour but the most realistic feeling. You really get the feeling of being behind the wheel of these high power racing vehicles. Good sounds increase this feeling of realism.
- GTR 2 can be played by a professional, or someone who never even played a racing game before, as it has breaking help, and other help which can be configured, even with the highest level of help being on, the game still feels realistic, while allowing an extremely easy to drive behaviour for new players.
The game has decent optimization and graphics balance, however, the replay in a race only seems to work for less than a minute, disabling you the ability to enjoy watching your whole race in nice replay cameras.
System specifications are moderate. For the best performance, your computer should have a stronger single core or a normal dual core CPU, as well as a bit stronger graphics card, such as GeForce 8000 series, equivalent or better.

I have personally had a lot of fun testing this game, and i would recommend it to any car racing fan, or even for those who are not fans.
