Counter Strike Online Freeware PC Shooter Review

Have you ever wanted to get Counter Strike, the most popular tactical FPS game ever made for the PC completely for free without wondering if it's legal or not?

Counter Strike Online has been recently released, but the graphics and the whole game is based on the original Counter Strike mod for Half Life, so don't expect insane special effects and modern graphics, however, expect a great atmosphere and tons of fun knowing that most MMOFPS games are copies of Counter Strike with different looks.

The better side of this is that the game will work with great performance on pretty much any PC available today.

Online Game play aspects:

This game not only gives you a free version of Counter Strike, but also gives you a great online interface and solves you the trouble of finding a good game server, synchronising your client to the server version, downloading new maps... people are easy to find, and your statistics get recorded, just like any other MMOFPS game. Personally, i can say that i have tried almost every MMOFPS game that is currently out there, and... none can outmatch the fun of playing this game.

Lots of weapons, nice maps:

Even though there are currently not as many maps as i would like, there are plenty of weapons in this game, the most common and interesting game modes(hostage, bomb planting, deathmatch, team deathmatch) and there are many updates to come bringing new modes, maps and weapons.

Server Issues:

The servers are currently located in Singapore and around which means that most European and American players will have a higher ping(some lag). However, players from all around the world can download and play this game, and in time there might be European and American servers added. I didn't have any troubles playing this game with 300-400 ms Ping.
